All of our holiday cottages are beautifully appointed in Farrow & Ball paint colours, with solid oak doors in every cottage, most with antique Suffolk latch ironmongery. Every kitchen features either oak unit doors or worktops and almost every item of furniture is made from solid oak. To furnish the cottages with anything less would do the buildings a great injustice.
The architectural and historical integrity of the farm is fully retained – but don’t expect to completely step back in time at Burnfoot. Inside every living room you will find a flat-screen television with superfast wifi. Every kitchen has a stainless steel range-cooker or built-in hob, oven and extractor, cooking utensils, and a twin-bowl sink with chrome monobloc taps.
As for the bedrooms, every master bed has an extra-thick luxury mattress to help you enjoy the best night’s sleep you’ve ever had. Not that you’ll need much help relaxing in the silent, star-studded serenity of the scientifically-proven most tranquil county in England!
Rest assured that fresh towels, bed linen and tea towels, and all heating and hot water is included. There is a travel cot and high chair in each cottage, as well as a stairgate in those with stairs.
Inside all of the cottages, you will also find washing-up liquid, a new sponge and j-cloth, toilet paper, hand soap, tea, coffee, milk and sugar.
